Why did we create the #DadsCare Hub?
Whether you’re a dad-of-five or a dad-to-be, there’s no guide to fatherhood. That’s why we wanted to share advice from the dads who’ve experienced fatherhood first-hand – to help you care for your family when they need you the most.
Whether it’s talking to your kids about diversity, calming down temper tantrums, encouraging creativity, or finding time to practise holistic self-care, you can find real, relatable advice for new fathers (and not-so-new fathers) on our #DadsCare Hub. Created by dads around the world, our hub is all about fathers helping fathers, and celebrating the power of care.
So, who are all these dads?
We’re proud that our new dad guide is represented by a diverse and inclusive community of dads. Some of the amazing fathers we partner with include:
The Dad Gang: On a mission to change the way the world views Black fatherhood.
Gays With Kids: The world’s only destination and social network dedicated to helping queer dads and their families.
City Dads Group: Fathers helping fathers, to ensure dads are involved in parenting conversations just as much as moms.
We also have support for dads from leading ‘dadvocates’
Proud #GirlDad Alexis Ohanian shares tips to help your kid get excited about learning a new language, while blogger-turned-fatherhood-mentor Glen Henry walks you through fun family activities like yoga and movie night.
