The world’s largest beauty report
Twenty years ago, Dove redefined beauty with the launch of the Campaign for Real Beauty. And it all began with a simple, compelling truth: only 2% of women considered themselves beautiful.
By challenging society, media and the beauty industry itself to change its representation of women and face up to the harmful impact unrealistic beauty standards have set, Dove took action to build body confidence and self-esteem for millions of young people.
And now Dove has conducted the world’s largest ever study by a beauty brand, building on 20 years of insights and listening to 33,000 people across 20 countries, to understand the reality of beauty and the pressures women and girls face.
