Inner confidence, and self-assuredness – these are the qualities that make a warrior woman. These days I have a confidence that I didn’t have as a teenager. It makes me feel like I'm able to do anything. – Steph Douglas

I didn’t feel self-conscious at all. – Bethie

I think the whole point of today is that we don’t look perfect, and its really important to share photos of what real bodies look like – for other women, for mums, for people who aren’t mums, for our kids, for boys and girls, for men. All these women here – these are what bodies actually look like, and everyone’s been so supportive, I didn’t feel self-conscious at all. – Bethie

Dove were the perfect people to partner up with – especially because of their real beauty campaigns. I knew from working with them before that they encourage people to embrace their uniqueness, and that just ties in perfectly with what I’m trying to achieve with the Warrior Woman Project. – Natalie

Today has just been great! It was nerve wracking and exciting. I think there’s a brilliant togetherness as well. Fierceness is a feeling but there are times when it all comes together, and you feel beautiful and fierce. – Clemmie

Long term I hope the Warrior Woman Project can achieve great things. There’s been so much positive feedback and I’ve had lots of messages from people wanting to get involved in the next one… so I want it to get bigger and better and reach out to, and help, more people! – Natalie

My favourite moment was when I went upstairs to where the photoshoots were going on. People who were initially really, really scared about having their photograph taken in their underwear were suddenly transformed into these warrior women who didn’t even want to put their clothes back on! Just the freedom that I saw and the confidence, it was absolutely wonderful. – Natalie
