Being labelled as “the girl with the gapped teeth,” Elaine heard it all. She was always getting comments like, “Do you work at the GAP?” and, “Can you fit a two dollar Canadian coin in between your teeth?”
But even when she was told to get the gap “fixed”, it only made her love her teeth more. Elaine believes that her gap makes her who she is. Her father and grandfather both have a gap and she likes that they share this family trait.
Now, not only has Elaine embraced her unique beauty, but she also speaks openly about her gap via her blog and videos, hoping to inspire others to embrace their unique features too.
