Since launching the iconic Dove beauty bar 60 years ago, we’ve spent decades improving our products to gently nourish, replenish and protect skin. But as mild as these cleansers and moisturizers may be, your little one’s skin is especially delicate. Baby skin may be beautifully soft and smooth, but it’s also more sensitive than yours, and much thinner. That’s why Baby Dove products are created differently. As a parent, you want to avoid cleansers that may strip delicate baby skin of its natural nutrients, proteins and lipids, which can then cause dryness. We specially formulated the Baby Dove range to support the skin’s protective outer layer and provide a vital natural barrier against dryness. All of our products work together, going beyond mildness to moisturize, nourish and help protect your baby’s natural skin barrier.
The entire range is hypoallergenic and all our bath products are tear-free. As Evan Hillman, a Baby Dove scientist and dad of two explains, “Our ingredients and formulations are simplistic: they’re not overcomplicated or filled with anything that isn’t needed.” This makes sure that from our baby lotion to our baby shampoo, every product is as gentle as possible on your little one’s delicate skin.
Our gentle cleansers – including Baby Dove Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash and Baby Dove Rich Moisture Baby Bar – do, however, deliver something that many other baby care products have been missing: skin-identical lipids. Containing DEFI technology, Dove extra-mild cleansing complex, stearic acid (a skin essential lipid), and our ¼ moisturizing cream, they replenish essential lipids that can be lost during bathing and restore balance in your little one’s delicate baby skin.
